For this project we made drastic changes to the front of this Brockton Village beauty. Our goal was to modernize the home and create more practical space in this classic Toronto row house. We started by removing the front awning and porch railing (the porch was only about 18” above the ground so no railing was required) and cladding the old iron fence with new horizontal pine boards. We installed new wood decking on the front porch, replaced the old door, mailbox, house numbers, light and door hardware and added a side railing. Inside we made some small repairs and targeted improvements in the kitchen and basement and did some accent staging to complete the look.
