For this project we made various improvements on the exterior of this Wallace Emerson home.  Our goal was to improve the look and function of the outside of the home to match the more recently updated interior.  We replaced the glass in the front door, updated the mailbox, house numbers and door hardware.  On the front porch we clad the old steel posts and railings in new wood boards, creating a clean and contemporary look.  We also removed the crooked old concrete stairs and replaced them with level wood stairs and railing.  We went around to the back of the house and covered the faux brick siding on the rear addition and the underside of the back porch with tongue and groove knotty pine.  We added lattice to the back yard fence, increasing privacy and painted everything else out.  In the interior our crew did a quick kitchen refresh, painting the cabinets and changing out the old fridge and dishwasher for new Stainless steel units.  We made other targeted improvements throughout the house, painting, changing light fixtures, pot lights, an exhaust fan, vent covers and then staged the main floor. The full update took about 3 weeks and we sold the house after a week on market, with multiple offers for 146% of the asking price.
