Project Description

Interior, Exterior, Staged

For this project our client moved out of the house to allow for a more extensive update. Our goal was to completely overhaul this slightly dated townhouse, turning into a modern bright space. To start we had our subcontractors come in to open up the kitchen area and install a new kitchen, creating a more efficient use of the space and a two seater breakfast bar. We then added our own accents, moving the front door forward to create a new entry space. We installed a new full glass front door, knotty cedar in the entry on one wall and the ceiling along with an accent in the dining area. We replaced the old floor and railing that separates the living room from the dining room. We updated the old light fixtures, painted and recladded the interior stairs. We also tackled the bathrooms, replacing the vanities, toilets and light fixtures. Outside we created a new lower back deck and put up a fence to separate it from the parking area. In the front we removed the old window shutters, replaced a missing flashing, painted the soffit, fascia and eavestrough and weeded, seeded and planted a new garden. We then fully staged the main floor and back deck of the house and added accents to the bedrooms and basement. We ended up selling this townhouse in a week with multiple offers, for the top value in the complex at that time.
